To mark our support for EarthDay.org for 2023, we hosted a community litter pick event as part of their Great Global Clean Up initiative. With the amazing support of Smarten Up Hungerford, who kindly loaned us some litter picking kits, we started the event at our offices in Charnham Lane, Hungerford on Wednesday 26th April at 12pm.
It was great to see a number of volunteers join us from both the local community and UHY Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants, who are also based on the Charnham Lane Business Park. Armed with litter pickers and bin bags, the team donned their hi-vis and gloves and some assembled for a group photo, before heading across to Charnham Park to begin doing their bit to keep Hungerford clean and tidy.
We are hugely grateful to everyone who took part in the event – we collected a staggering 11 bags of rubbish! Thank you and well done everyone for taking action towards achieving a healthier planet.
