The Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Foundation is a small, nonprofit that was born in the 1990’s following a summer of violence where a reporter noted that people should stop reporting on “random acts of violence” and start “practicing random acts of kindness”. That moment started a movement and soon after the RAK Foundation was born.
The RAK Foundation invests time, expertise and resources into its mission, to ‘Make Kindness the Norm’. They are rooted in the belief that all people can connect through kindness and that kindness can be taught.
