The ArmourLux Strider portable backpack system is a lightweight, mission-ready fibre communication network designed to efficiently connect military forces anywhere they need to go. The backpack has been developed to allow easy transportation, deployment and recovery of high-performance fibre optic communication networks across a range of challenging terrains. With an impressive 1km fibre optic cable onboard, this lightweight backpack system weighs less than 25kg*.
With the requirements of the military in mind, the ArmourLux Strider backpack has been designed to take into consideration both the operational needs of the project and the comfort of the wearer.
The lightweight, ergonomic and agile design enables a single person to quickly and easily carry, deploy and recover a fibre communication network across even the toughest of landscapes.
*Utilising Mini MIL-TAC (military tactical) cable, 1km of 4 core cable weighs 24.9kg (metal reel) or 27kg with OCC Mini Tactical cable and MARS reel. The largest compatible reel for this system, has a maximum cable carrying capacity of 3.3km of 2 core Mini MIL-TAC cable, however this weighs 54kg.

EASY TRANSPORTATION
Integrated trolley forms part of the backpack frame, allowing the backpack to be turned upside down and wheeled along where the terrain allows.
