Universal Networks is proud to announce that it has achieved registered status on the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR). Further strengthening the position of it’s deployable fibre cable solutions within a market requiring robust, rugged fibre network products suitable for harsh environments.
JOSCAR was established following an initiative led by ADS Group as a way of simplifying the process of identifying suppliers that are ‘fit for business’. It is a cross-sector, collaborative tool used by a growing number of prime contractors in the aerospace, defence and security industry, including BAE Systems, UK Ministry of Defence and Babcock International.
It is designed to improve efficiency for both suppliers and buyers by acting as a central, single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information that can be accessed by all participating buying organisations.
